About the Product

The CT-DOSE Phantom is a simulator of head, abdomen, and pediatric abdomen made of PMMA.

The professional responsible for evaluating the Computed Tomography equipment must position the simulator at the entrance of the CT equipment’s Gantry and obtain dose values in 5 specific positions along the Z-axis using a dose measurement instrument (not included in the simulator). This allows the calculation of the CTDIvol parameter (CT Dose Index) to ensure that dose levels meet regulatory requirements, as per Annex II of IN 93/2021, in addition to the dose-length product (DLP) product.
